The Sound Bath

This is an unforgettable sound healing experience for those who seek deep relaxation, deep meditation and rejuvenation.   "It's kindergarten naptime of the Third Kind."

What is the Sound Bath?  The Sound Bath is a 30-minute sonic healing session that you can experience while resting comfortably in the Integratron's highly resonant, multi-wave sound chamber. We play 9 quartz crystal singing bowls, each one keyed to the energy centers or chakras of the body, where sound is nutrition for the nervous system.  Imagine lying on comfy mats in the center of this relaxing and resonant high-energy field, while having your body bathed in exquisite sound for 30 minutes. The results are waves of peace, heightened awareness, and relaxation of the mind and body.

From a New York Times article published on 11/24/05 - Dr. Mitchell L. Gaynor, an oncologist and clinical assistant professor of medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, and the author of "The Healing Power of Sound," likens sound healing to music therapy.  In "The Healing Power of Sound" he cites studies indicating that music can lower blood pressure, reduce cardiac complications among patients who have recently suffered heart attacks, reduce stress hormones during medical testing and boost natural opiates.

Special Events

Whether you believe in UFOs or not, RETRO UFO (3) will take you beyond the typical UFO lecture hall of a hotel conference room and into a new, and nostalgic way of viewing the UFO phenomenon that has intrigued thousands for a millennia. The event is presented in tents and canopies on the grounds of the World Famous Integratron. Speakers will lecture, share their stories and experiences about Giant Rock, The Integratron, Crop Circles and the latest UFOs information.

We’re honored to announce that well-known UFO Researchers are scheduled to drop by to check out the Dome Vortex and be part of another history making weekend. Other modern day enthusiasts such as Dr. Louis Turi, Kenn Thomas, Nick Redfern, Paul Kimball, Ralph Ring, Barbara Lamb, Greg Bishop, Alexandra “Chica” Bruce, Adam GoRightly and a host of others will share their present day experiences and research.

For the third year, there will be a historical depiction of George Van Tassel by Lloyd Noel, The Morongo Basin Historical Society, Vice President. The PioneerTown Posse will present a short drama on, “What does a Cowboy do when he sees a UFO... shoot it?” Other demonstrations include: the Integratron's technologies by Bob Benson, exhibits by local artists, music, vendors, the Sound Bath, prizes for the Best Costume and Who Builds the Best Aluminum Foil Hat will round out some of the festivities for the weekend.

Also planned is an evening program featuring Zamora, The Torture King (His Las Vegas name by the way), and the movie Farewell Good Brothers along with a laser light show all projected on the Dome. (Weather permitting).

This year Retro UFO (3) promises to be the most exciting and FUN to date. This conference is sponsored by Barbara and Rob Harris of Adset Graphics, both are also passionate supporters of The Integratron and Giant Rock. This event is gaining in popularity, and space is limited. The intention of this conference is to awaken old memories of the past, and allows us to be a little nostalgic for a simpler time. By combining information from the past with new and modern philosophies of the present we begin to create our own history taking the UFO movement into new undiscovered directions.

NOTE: SPACE IS LIMITED SO PLEASE REGISTER EARLY

Rooms in Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree & Twenty-Nine Palms have been set

aside for this event, but will only be held until the end of March.
